Terms & Conditions

Reservation Policy: 

· All tours must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Final guest count and any special requests should be provided at lease 7 days prior to the tour date. 

Payment Policy:

· Payment is expected at the time of booking. All reservations require a minimum deposit of 50% to be paid at the time of booking, or the full amount. 

· Reservation is not guaranteed until payment is received in full.

Cancellation Policy:

· Tour reservations are Non-refundable if canceled within 14 days of your tour date.

o  Tours canceled from 14 to 30 days of your tour date will be charged 50% of the total reservation.

o Tours canceled more than 30 days out are eligible for a 75% refund or can be re-booked for another date at no charge. 

o Peak Periods (Keeneland Racing season & Kentucky Derby week) No Refunds within 30 days of your tour date. 

o We understand emergencies may arise and are willing to be flexible on a case-by-case basis. 

o Failure to arrive for your scheduled tour will result in a no-show charge of 100% of the tour fee.

Changes & Substitutions:

· We reserve the right to substitute distilleries, venues or timing as needed due to availability, closures or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible. 

Weather Policy:

· Tours run rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or unsafe travel conditions, we will work with you to reschedule or issue a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Participant Requirements & Responsibilities: 

· Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Bourbon Trails & Bluegrass Tales, LLC (BTBT) shall provide the services specified in the reservation confirmation. 

· Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate in bourbon tastings. Valid photo ID will be required. All guests are expected to drink responsibly and follow safety instructions of their guide and distillery staff.

· BTBT shall act as the exclusive provider of event services and will have the necessary authority to act on the tour participant’s behalf with respect to the organization and management of the event. 

Liability Waiver: 

· By booking a tour, guests agree to participate at their own risk. Bourbon Trails & Bluegrass Tales, LLC is not liable for any injury, loss or damage incurred during the tour. 

· Transportation is provided by licensed, insured professionals. 

Cleaning Fees & Damages:

· There will be a $500.00 clean up fee for motion sickness and a $100.00 clean up fee per incidence for drink spills.

· Any interior or exterior damages caused by a tour participant to BTBT’s vehicle will result in a fee for repairs. An assessment of the damage will be made at the conclusion of your event by your BTBT representative. 

· Tour participant accepts the responsibility for ALL damages and cleaning charges necessary, including but not limited to: vomit/sickness, alcohol/liquid spillage, food stains, broken glassware, burns, damage to electronics or upholstery, and exterior of BTBT’s vehicle. 

· Tour participant shall assume full financial responsibility for any damages to BTBT’s vehicle or property whether by accident, neglect, or intent.

Safety:

· Safety and comfort are important for an enjoyable experience. Unsafe and inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated, and such behavior may result in the tour participant being removed from the tour without a refund.

· Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited while the tour participant is a passenger in the BTBT vehicle.

· Lost or Stolen Property: BTBT is not responsible for any articles left in its vehicle or at any of the locations visited.

Photo-Video Release: 

· Photographs or video footage taken and presented by BTBT may be used for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website or any publication to promote BTBT and the images can be used without additional compensation to the tour participant.
